We encourage parents with younger children to sign up for Age Group Parent. This allows the parent to be around for their children while volunteering for the swim team.

Timer, Runner, Stroke/Turn Judge, and Age Group Parents are great volunteer positions for you.

More Extroverted?

Consider positions to assist the Volunteer Coordinator, Age Group parents, Head Timer, Concessions Director, or Ready Bench. You will learn the ropes from the pros.

Looking to meet a group of friends while volunteering?

Holding a leadership role can seem more time consuming, but with a whole team of volunteers, work gets done quickly. We recommend parents who are familiar with swim team hold leadership roles. Each season we look for: Scorekeepers, Head Ready Bench, Head Timers, Ribbon Coordinators, Concessions Directors, and a Volunteer Coordinator. These roles make up our leadership team, which is essential to running swim meets. The leadership team is a ton of fun!
